Police officers of the SVR Skopje detained a 52-year-old teacher employed at a secondary school in the Municipality of Centar. He is suspected of sexually harassing an 18-year-old female student and soliciting sexual intercourse with her between February 25 and March 2, 2026.

Following a full investigation and documentation of the case, appropriate charges will follow, the MIA announced. Precautionary measures are being taken against the suspect.

Media sources later reported that the suspect is a teacher at Skopje's Secondary School of Arts "Lazar Ličenoski." The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not officially confirm this information but stated that an appropriate criminal complaint will be filed against the perpetrator.
