Skopje bid farewell to Dragan Paroski, known as Uncle Dragi - the man who spent decades selling small goods at a stand near Record and shared everything he had with stray dogs.

The 72-year-old Dragi was a beloved figure in the city center. Despite his own poverty, he fed homeless animals every day, winning the affection of the citizens.

Health problems took away his voice, so he communicated by writing. Previously, citizens raised funds for his treatment, but his condition did not improve.

"Even what he didn't have, he shared with the dogs" - with these words, Skopje residents remember the man whose big heart surpassed his humble life.
