Gazi Baba Mayor Stefkofski ordered the demolition of makeshift shelters near the Vardar River in the Keramidnica settlement, built on state-owned land.

"No compromise with the law," Stefkofski stated.

Questions have been raised about why these structures were not addressed earlier during his first term. Stefkofski stressed that the law must be respected regardless of ethnicity or religion.
