Macedonia will receive 5 million dollars in support from the United States for strengthening cybersecurity, as part of the results from the Strategic Dialogue held in Washington.

Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski announced that the Ministry of Interior will receive approximately 3.5 million dollars from the total package, directed toward border police, counter-terrorism, and transnational organized crime. "The United States remains the most important strategic partner of the state and a strong ally in strengthening security, stability, and democratic capacities," Toshkovski said.

The Ministry of Digital Transformation, led by Minister Stefan Andonovski, announced it is receiving significant support for building a cyber incident center, technical assistance, and system modernization. The support also includes expert assistance from American specialists.

The Strategic Dialogue delegation was led by Foreign Minister Timcho Mucunski, with the participation of Defense Minister Vlado Misajlovski and Energy Minister Sanja Bozhinovska.

The funds will be directed toward several areas: strengthening border security, combating illegal migration, preventing drug trafficking, improving intelligence cooperation, and enhancing cybersecurity through technical support and system modernization.
