Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he fully supports Croatian President Zoran Milanovic's decision to cancel the Brdo-Brioni summit scheduled for May, emphasizing he has no place there.

"I always wanted as President of Serbia to go and lay flowers in Jasenovac - that was always incomparably more important to me," said Vucic, adding that he is nobody's subject and will not allow anyone to abuse him.

Vucic sharply criticized Milanovic's approach, suggesting the Croatian president could have invited his allies from Pristina and Tirana instead of canceling the entire summit. "Let him invite his friends from Pristina and Tirana, so I don't ruin their idyll," the Serbian leader said.

He also dismissed accusations that the modernization of the Serbian army poses a threat to regional peace, emphasizing that he speaks as a "free and freedom-loving president of Serbia."
