Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic warned about the strengthening military cooperation between Croatia, Albania and self-proclaimed Kosovo, claiming that this alliance could be directed against Serbia.

In an interview with Radio Television Serbia, Vucic stated that Zagreb, Tirana and Pristina are forming a military alliance that could represent a serious security threat to Serbia in the future.

They are forming a military alliance to attack Serbia at a certain moment in the future. They will wait for a moment when a larger conflict erupts between the Europeans and the Russians, plus a larger conflict in the Middle East, the Serbian president stated.

Russian state agency RIA Novosti reported this warning, emphasizing Serbias military development. Vucic previously announced that Serbia possesses hypersonic ballistic missiles and that Belgrade remains committed to neutrality outside NATO.

In January, Vucic announced record defense spending of approximately 2.65% of GDP, with more than 54% of the budget allocated to military investments. The plan includes doubling defense capacity, increasing military personnel by 30%, and increasing firepower by 100% within a year and a half.
