The president of the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia, Venko Filipche, stated that Parliament has never been this inactive since the current government took office. At a regional meeting in Strumica, Filipche accused the majority of passing only laws tailored to their own interests, without a single law benefiting citizens.

The opposition leader warned that regular salary and pension payments are at risk, pointing to a budget gap of approximately 2 billion euros. "Companies are closing due to debts, this government has no plan, no capacity, nor intention to solve problems," said Filipche, adding that public discontent is "enormous."

In addition to budget criticism, Filipche warned that there is no progress toward European integration, stating that there is "no movement, no steps despite pressure from European institutions." The government has so far not responded to the specific accusations made at the meeting.
