Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán posted a video on Facebook claiming that the Ukrainian side is making threats against members of his family, including his children and grandchildren. "Ukrainians have already threatened my family, my children and grandchildren," he said while calling his daughters.

Orbán advised his family to remain calm: "We must take this seriously, but we must not be afraid. In such situations, families unite." He simultaneously emphasized that "there are limits to everything."

The context of the dispute is the interruption of transit of Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline to Hungarian and Slovak refineries, after a Russian drone damaged the Brody oil junction in western Ukraine on January 27. Budapest claims Kyiv is deliberately delaying repairs due to political pressure ahead of parliamentary elections on April 12, while Ukrainian officials deny this.

Orbán's Fidesz party is facing unprecedented electoral pressure — the opposition Tisza party leads in polls with around 50 percent, compared to 39 percent for Fidesz.
