President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova convened an extraordinary session of the Security Council in Villa Vodno, in the context of the escalating military events in the Middle East. The session lasted for more than two hours and was attended by key representatives of the executive authorities, including the Speaker of Parliament Afrim Gashi, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, the ministers for interior, defence, and foreign affairs.

After the session concluded, the president stated that "there is currently no instability or security threat for the country". Intelligence and security agencies reported a stable situation, based on a comprehensive analysis of military events and regional coordination.

The authorities confirmed that the energy infrastructure is functioning uninterrupted, with an operational interconnector to Greece and oil reserves sufficient for 40 to 90 days. At the same time, early warning systems were activated in the relevant agencies.

Foreign Affairs Minister Timcho Mucunski joined the session remotely, with information indicating he is currently with a number of Macedonian citizens in the Middle East region. A Crisis Centre has been established to maintain contact with citizens and to facilitate the evacuation of safe citizens using evacuation routes, as some transport options remain disrupted.

In the context of the security of the Jewish community, the president confirmed that the buildings of the Jewish Community and the Holocaust Memorial Centre in Skopje are under reinforced protection due to potential threats. The Security Council operates as the highest advisory body for security and defence in the country, and its recommendations go to the Assembly and the Government.
