The Israeli military continues massive operations in Lebanon while Hezbollah retaliates with rocket attacks on Israeli territory, in what represents the most serious escalation of the conflict in recent weeks.

Israel's Chief of Staff stated that the army remains in "war condition, not ceasefire" regarding operations in Lebanon. Multiple artillery exchanges were reported along the Lebanon-Israel border, with air raid sirens activated in the Galilee region.

Tensions further escalated after Iran suspended talks with the US, accusing Washington of not preventing Israeli attacks. The Strait of Hormuz remained restricted despite a previous ceasefire agreement.

According to military analysts, Israel is preparing new waves of airstrikes against Iranian targets. US President Trump expressed dissatisfaction with how Iran fulfills its Strait of Hormuz obligations.

Lebanon has become the central point in ceasefire negotiations between the US and Iran. The situation on the ground indicates that military operations are far from ending.
