American President Donald Trump called his former close political ally Marjorie Taylor Greene a "traitor" in a fierce public clash on social media. Trump highlighted his backing of Clay Fuller, whom he personally supported as a replacement for Greene in Congress.

"Marjorie the Traitor Brown's seat in Congress was taken by a wonderful and talented man, Clay Fuller, who won convincingly," Trump wrote on his platform.

The clash escalated after Greene called for Trump's removal through the 25th Amendment in response to his threats against Iran. "Not a single bomb has fallen on America. We cannot destroy an entire civilization. This is evil and madness," Greene wrote.

The special election results reveal a significant shift - in a district where Trump won by 37 points in 2024, the Democratic candidate lost to Fuller by less than 12 points, a significantly smaller margin suggesting an erosion of support. Greene responded that her district "was never in danger of going Democratic" and that Trump is undermining the principles of the MAGA movement.
