VMRO-DPMNE issued sharp criticism of SDSM and its leader Venko Filipche, accusing them of pursuing anti-state policy and working against state interests.

The ruling party claims SDSM has suffered a serious decline in support, reduced to around 130,000 votes, as a result of what they call "servile and vassal politics."

"The vassal attitude and kneeling before certain neighbors and obedience to all their demands at the expense of Macedonia is anti-state policy written into SDSM's statute. Filipche and Zaev promote it through a PR strategy controlled by Bashanovic," VMRO-DPMNE stated.

The party characterized SDSM as a "proxy party" working against state interests and claims the opposition has not learned from its electoral defeats.
