Iran has suspended negotiations with the United States over the continuation of Israeli military operations, Iranian state media reported. Tehran said it will not send a diplomatic delegation to Pakistan until a ceasefire is established in Lebanon.

Iranian authorities told Pakistan they will not participate in Islamabad talks under current conditions. Officials from Tehran denied that any delegation had already arrived in the Pakistani capital, confirming that diplomatic contacts remain blocked.

Tehran blamed Washington for failing to restrain Israeli military actions, warning that failure to achieve a ceasefire could lead to a complete collapse of peace talks.

Iran's decision represents a serious blow to the diplomatic efforts of US President Donald Trump, who in recent weeks insisted on continuing direct talks between Washington and Tehran. The break in dialogue comes at a time when tensions in the Middle East are at their highest level in recent months.

According to diplomatic sources, the key obstacle to continuing negotiations is the situation in Lebanon, where the Israeli military continues intensive operations against Hezbollah.
