An Air Serbia plane landed in Belgrade carrying 67 passengers evacuated from Israel. The aircraft had previously departed from the Egyptian tourist resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where people were transported after being brought out of areas affected by military operations in Israel.

On board were citizens of multiple countries — alongside Serbs, the evacuees included Macedonian citizens, as well as nationals of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, and Montenegro. The evacuation took place in two phases: people were first transported from Israel to Egypt and then by plane to Belgrade.

Serbia's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Damjan Jović, stated that the operation — "beyond the humanitarian aspect" — sends a message of Serbia's desire to build good relations with neighbouring countries.

North Macedonia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that a total of 473 Macedonian citizens had requested evacuation since the start of the Middle East conflict. The authorities are tracking the movements of their citizens and are prepared to organise additional evacuations should the situation require it.
