A FlyDubai aircraft carrying 200 Serbian citizens evacuated from the United Arab Emirates landed at Belgrade airport. The flight was part of the efforts to repatriate regional nationals stranded by the suspension of flights due to the instability in the Middle East.

The airline had suspended a large portion of its regular flights due to the ongoing tensions and airspace restrictions affecting traffic. Priority during the evacuation was given to passengers with prior reservations, who were contacted directly to rebook onto the relief flights.

The company advised passengers not to go to the airport until they received direct confirmation and instructions. The flight on a Boeing 737 Max 8 brought the evacuated passengers directly to Belgrade, where their families were waiting.

The evacuation of Serbian citizens is part of a broader regional effort to repatriate nationals from Balkan countries stranded by the Middle East crisis. The uncertainty in the region continues to affect air traffic, and stranded passengers are still waiting for a possible return home.
