Vlatko Štampar performs at Akademija 28 in Belgrade on November 3 from 20:00 with the show "Best of Vlatko Štampar - 15 godina karijere" ("15 Years of Career"). A day later, on November 4, he takes the same programme to the Bunjevačko Kolo Croatian Cultural Centre in Subotica.
Štampar comes from Međimurje and is considered one of the best-known names in Croatian comedy. He works solo, but also as part of the Lajnap collective, performing alongside Saša Turković, Goran Vugrinec and Aleks Curać Šarić, and his home club is Zagreb's Sax. He headlined the first edition of the Jokes&More festival in Opatija, where he filled the Summer Stage.
The show is a cross-section: material gathered over fifteen years on stage, from club nights to festivals. A Croatian comedian celebrating a milestone in Belgrade and then Subotica - stand-up in the Balkans has long worked as a regional market, no visas and no interpreters needed. Will it make it to Skopje too?
Tickets for Belgrade cost 1,600 and 1,800 dinars (about 842 and 947 denars), and for Subotica 1,500 dinars (about 789 denars). They're on sale at tickets.rs.
