Where the events take place

The Ancient Theatre is the only Hellenistic theatre in Macedonia, more than two thousand years old, overlooking the lake. Its acoustics and open-air setting make it the most sought-after summer stage in the country - both local and regional stars perform here.

Ohrid Summer is the country's oldest festival - running since 1961, every summer from July to August, with a theatre and music programme at the Ancient Theatre and around town. Tickets for the festival programme go through the festival's official sale; commercial concerts use the usual ticket platforms.
