Aca Lukas returns to Arena Zagreb on October 3, almost four years after his last appearance in front of a Zagreb audience. The concert starts at 8pm, with tickets from 26.50 euros, roughly 1,632 denars.

Aleksandar Vuksanovic was born on November 3, 1968 in Belgrade and grew up in the Karaburma neighbourhood. He finished secondary music school. He started his career in the early nineties, playing Belgrade clubs. He took his stage name from the Lukas raft, where he performed regularly, and it was exactly then that he built the recognisable style that welds pop-folk, rock and elements of traditional Balkan music together.

The Zagreb setlist will include "Volis li me", "Licna karta", "Kafana na Balkanu" and "Pesma od bola", along with the live favourites "By Pass" and "Omaklo mi se". The duets get their own space, among them "Daleko si" with Ivana Selakov and "Sad i zauvek" with Dragana Mirkovic.

Three and a half decades on, Lukas remains one of the most in-demand live acts in the region, and that is not only about the songs. In 2003 he was arrested in the police operation Sablja over an unregistered weapon, and problems with gambling and drugs kept him off stage for two years. He came back in 2006. The audience filling the arena knows that part of the story too, which at Balkan concerts is rarely treated as a problem.
