Mexican-American extreme metal band Brujeria and Chile's Criminal play Mixtape 5 in Sofia on March 19, 2027 at 8:30 p.m., on the Gira Revolución 2027 tour.

Brujeria was founded in Los Angeles in 1989, with an image built around Mexican culture, narco-trafficking, Satanism, violence and pitch-black humour. The masks and pseudonyms were part of the concept: for years the musicians' identities stayed hidden, while people from Napalm Death, Fear Factory, Faith No More and Carcass turned up behind the band.

Bulgarian audiences saw them in 2012 and in 2024, but after that last visit the band changed dramatically. In July 2024 long-time vocalist and sample man Pinche Peach died, and in September so did founder and vocalist Juan Brujo. Still, the group didn't fall apart, and in January 2025 it played Antwerp, the first show after both deaths. Criminal was founded by Anton Reisenegger in Santiago in 1991 and for decades has been one of South America's most durable extreme bands, mixing thrash, death, groove metal and hardcore.
