Conway the Machine comes to Sofia on November 19, 2026 at the Malkata Tekila club, as part of the „Reject 2” tour marking ten years since the project of the same name. Producer Daringer will be on stage with him.
Conway the Machine, real name Demond Price, is a rapper from Buffalo in New York state and one of the founders of Griselda Records alongside his half-brother Westside Gunn and cousin Benny the Butcher. Griselda is more a collective than a label, and over a single year, 2019, it put out close to ten projects, culminating in the joint album „WWCD” for Shady Records.
Griselda's sound is dark East Coast realism that critics routinely compare to Mobb Deep and Wu-Tang Clan, built on slow, heavy beats. A large part of that sound is the work of Daringer himself, the producer who will be on the same stage in Sofia, together with frequent collaborator The Alchemist.
Malkata Tekila is a limited-capacity club, and the organisers warn in advance that free-entry passes will not be valid for this night and that reservations are not accepted. Tickets are around 25 euros via bilet.bg, roughly 1,540 denars. For one of the hardest underground hip-hop outfits in America, that is a smaller stage than the one it deserves.
