The Macedonian Philharmonic performs the programme "Echo" in its Concert Hall on November 12 at 20:00. Frenchman Sammy Rachid conducts, and the soloist is pianist David Khrikuli from Georgia.

On the programme are Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 in E-flat major, also known as the "Romantic". Rachmaninoff and Bruckner on the same night means a pianistic spectacle in the first half and a long, broad symphony in the second.

Khrikuli was born in 2001 and was a finalist at the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 2025. Before that he won first prizes at the competitions in Cantù and Vigo in 2024 and at the competition in Aarhus, Denmark. Rachid was the cellist of the Quatuor Arod until 2021, when he switched fully to conducting; he has worked as assistant conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Andris Nelsons.
