The Eduardo Rebollar group perform at Kamerlengo Tower in Trogir on August 31, 2026, starting at 8 pm. The Spanish flamenco guitarist is coming to a medieval keep on the Dalmatian coast, which for this repertoire is a far more interesting room than a concert hall.
Eduardo Rebollar Peinado was born in Seville in 1966. He studied guitar at the Matilde Coral Academy, alongside guitarists Manolo Franco and Paco Arriaga. In 1985 he went to Canada with a group of flamenco artists, accompanying dance and singing and performing as a soloist, which was the start of his professional career.
In 1987 he joined the theatre company La Cuadra de Sevilla, led by Salvador Távora, where he took part in creating flamenco music for several productions and toured Europe and America with it. In 1990 he was a finalist in the young performers' competition at the Seville Biennial, and in 1992 he began teaching guitar for the provincial council of Huelva.
Since 1996 he has worked at the „Cristina Heeren” flamenco foundation in Seville, and he is professor of flamenco guitar at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Cordoba. Together with dancer Yolanda Lorenzo he runs the Artes Escenicas Rebollar flamenco school in Seville, active since 1993. Tickets are 20 euros, roughly 1,232 denars, plus a booking fee, through entrio.hr.
