A voice from Cameroon that spent decades in London is landing on the Belgrade club scene. Jungle Leez and Roll Pickers perform on August 15 at the Blues & Beer club - an evening where rhythm and blues meets funk, reggae and hip-hop in one unpretentious summer party.

Jungle Leez was born in Cameroon, but has lived and worked in London for several decades now, and his band Roll Pickers plays original music written together with Zoran Andrijevic. The lineup is international and varied - alongside Leez on vocals and Andrijevic on DJ decks and vocals, it includes Aleksandar Pejcic on keyboards, Nenad Milosevic on guitar, Mladen Mladenovic on bass and Dragan Stankovic on drums.

What sets them apart is a blend of genres that rarely share one band - rhythm and blues, hip-hop, reggae and funk, all of it in original form. Their latest album is titled Another Place, and it is exactly clubs like Blues & Beer, devoted to blues, funk, soul, jazz and afro music, that are the natural home for a sound like this.

The show starts at 9 pm, and tickets are available through tickets.rs. For a summer night in which genres mix without borders, Jungle Leez and Roll Pickers offer precisely that loose, playful atmosphere.
