Goran Remenski, a 32-year-old resident of Valandovo, has been found alive and in stable condition. The search concluded in the morning after teams from the Valandovo Emergency Services used a thermal imaging drone to locate him in difficult terrain in the Tisa area, near the village of Chalakli. The family was immediately informed.

Remenski had been missing since April 25, when he left home at 5:30 AM. He was last seen at 6:00 AM at the "GAMA OIL" petrol station, heading in the direction of Strumica. He had no phone or identification documents. The family appealed publicly for help, and citizens widely shared the information.

Thermal drones have become critical for search operations in Macedonia - this is the second case this spring alone. Locating a person in forest or hilly terrain using thermal imaging at night is significantly more effective than physical search. The technology works. Equally important is that families know to ask for help publicly, and citizens know to respond.

Remenski is in stable condition and has been returned to his family. Not all searches end this way.
