The Croatian pop-rock that many know from a single song is coming to Belgrade. Silente take the open-air stage at Luka Beograd on September 11 - a night of summer pop-rock under the open sky, in the Open Air Corner by the Danube.
Silente is a pop-rock group from Dubrovnik, formed in 2013. Their fame came with the song Terca na tišinu, and that same year saw the release of their debut album Lovac na čudesa. The lineup is led by brothers Tibor and Sanin Karamehmedović as songwriters, and also features drummer Ivuša Gojan, vocalist Lara Viktorija Ilić and violinist Ivana Čuljak - a combination that gives their sound a recognizable colour.
What sets them apart is a melodic pop-rock with string touches, a sound that sits somewhere between the radio hit and the ambitious song. After a few albums and a break, the band returned to the stage with new energy, and summer open-air performances are exactly the setting where their songs come into their own.
The show at Luka Beograd starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are available through tickets.rs. For a summer evening of pop-rock by the river, Silente offer precisely that relaxed, melodic atmosphere.
