"Symphony in Darkness: a sound experience" premieres at CZK Vlada Divljan in Belgrade on December 12 from 8:30 p.m. A chamber orchestra plays in total darkness, and the audience sits wearing satin blindfolds.

The idea is that the sound doesn't come only from the stage. The music arrives from different parts of the hall - from behind, from the side - and the body reacts before the mind understands what's happening. The programme combines immortal classical hits and legendary film soundtracks: Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Vivaldi, Mozart and Ludovico Einaudi.

Sixteen pieces are performed without a break, without applause between them and without announcements - sixty minutes as one work, not as a series of separate pieces. The full repertoire is deliberately not announced in advance. The rule on latecomers is strict: after the first note the doors close, because in the dark every late arrival is heard across the whole hall. How many concerts today ask this of the audience - just to listen?

Tickets come in three price categories, based on distance from the stage, and start at 3,000 dinars via tickets.rs. Doors open half an hour before the start.
