British audiovisual duo The KVB plays Club Pave in Sofia on November 19, 2026 at 8 p.m. Sofia is the first stop on their November and December European tour, which then passes through Thessaloniki, Athens, Budapest, Belgrade and Bucharest.

The KVB was started by Nicholas Wood, and in 2011 Kat Day joined him. The debut "Always Then" came out in 2012, followed by "Immaterial Visions" for the Cititrax label, "Mirror Being" for Invada and 2016's "Of Desire", recorded with vintage synths from the collection of Geoff Barrow, boss of Invada and member of Portishead. The later "Only Now Forever" (2018), "Unity" (2021) and "Tremors" (2024) sharpened their sound and made it more danceable.

On stage, Wood's fuzz guitars and dark vocals collide with Day's modular synths and motorik rhythms, with visuals behind them that react to the music live. The setlist runs from the early dark wave anthems of "Always Then" to new songs from "Of Desire (Demos & Outtakes)". For fans of Joy Division, Boy Harsher and The Jesus and Mary Chain, this night is made to measure.

Tickets on bilet.bg cost 20 euros, roughly 1,230 denars. Pave's concrete interior is an almost ideal space for a show like this.
