Dorćol Wine Plac Fest takes place on September 5 at Dorćol Plac in Belgrade, as part of Belgrade Wine Week. Tickets are 2,000 dinars through tickets.rs, and the programme starts at 7 pm.

The event combines what Dorćol Plac does best, an open city space with a music programme, with a wine event brought by Vino Kultura. The format is tasting plus concert evening, which means the ticket is not paid for the stage alone.

Dorćol Plac is a former industrial yard in the old part of Belgrade that over the past decade has become one of the city's busiest summer addresses. In the same season, Black Country New Road, the Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra, Jamie Woon and the Amy Winehouse Band also play there, which shows how broadly the programme is set.

Belgrade Wine Week is a larger initiative that gathers Serbian and regional wineries in one place over several days, and Wine Plac is its part with music. For an audience that wants to taste wines without sitting in a restaurant, that is a more approachable form.

Tickets are 2,000 dinars through tickets.rs. The same evening in Belgrade, Nikola Vranjković plays the Botanical Garden, which makes September 5 a dense night in the city.
