Aleksandra Prijović, described by Index.hr as the only true folk diva of the new generation, will play Zrenjanin on May 9 at the Crystal Hall sports arena. The show is part of her current regional tour, following sold-out runs in Zagreb, Belgrade and across the Balkan diaspora - the kind of crowds that send her songs past hundreds of millions of YouTube views, while half the regional press still refuses to take pop-folk seriously.
Born in 1995 in Sombor, Prijović broke through in 2013 on Zvezde Granda, finishing third. In January 2015 she dropped Za nas kasno je, which racked up over 80 million views, followed by Totalna anestezija with 66 million. Senke hit a million views in its first 24 hours - a regional record at the time - while Ko si ti has become one of the biggest Balkan pop-folk hits of the decade with over 110 million plays.
In 2022 she founded her own label, A Music, and released her second album Zvuk tišine, a massive commercial success across the former Yugoslavia. A third album, Devet života, followed in 2023. The Zrenjanin set will lean into her biggest hits, with a full folk band behind her.
Tickets range from the cheapest seats up to VIP and are sold through tickets.rs. The show starts at 20:00 in Crystal Hall, the largest indoor venue in Zrenjanin.
