The autumn Skopje Tribute cycle at Stanica 26 wraps up on December 12 with a night dedicated to Arctic Monkeys, performed by the band Stereo Deficit. Doors are from 20:00, with the show starting at 21:00.

Arctic Monkeys formed in Sheffield in 2002 and made their name through demo recordings that fans shared online, before they had even released an album on a major label. Their 2006 debut "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" was at the time the fastest-selling debut album in British history, and 2013's "AM", with "Do I Wanna Know?" and "R U Mine?", brought them their biggest success outside the UK.

Stereo Deficit are billed as a "real tribute". The organiser hasn't released any further details on the line-up, but the original's repertoire speaks for itself: from the fast guitars of "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" to the slow-burning "505", which got a second life on TikTok a few years ago.

Tickets are 700 denars on kupikarta.com. Whether the real thing will ever make it to Skopje, nobody knows. Until then, this is as close as it gets.
