Bulgarian metal bands Hellbound and Death Row bring their joint tour "Into The Jumbish" to the Moderen Teatar club in Burgas on October 30. Doors open at 18:30 and the music starts at 19:00, with Bound to Bleed opening.
Hellbound present themselves as pioneers of so-called "jumbish metal", an aggressive, modern sound with a lot of stage energy. They took third place at Metal Battle Bulgaria, the contest through which Bulgarian bands compete for a slot at Germany's Wacken Open Air festival. In March this year they launched their new EP at Sofia's Mixtape 5 club.
Death Row are a young band from Yambol, formed in 2021, who after several line-up changes released their debut album "Into Oblivion" and are taking it on their first national tour. The poster sums up the whole aesthetic: a prisoner in an orange jumpsuit, weights, a basketball and the slogan "Jumbish Foreva". Metal for the gym, or the gym for metal?
Tickets cost 10 euros, or about 615 denars, and are on sale at bilet.bg. The tour continues on October 31 in Yambol and on November 1 in Varna.
