US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio jointly announced that the most intensive phase of military engagement against Iran has not yet been carried out. Trump, in a statement to the media, emphasized that "we haven't hit them hard yet" and confirmed that larger operations are to follow.

Rubio also confirmed these claims, stating that "the hardest strikes are yet to come" and refusing to disclose tactical details about future operations. The Secretary of State justified the strikes against Iran so far as a preventive measure, claiming that had they not been carried out, American forces would have suffered greater losses.

Rubio further stated that Washington anticipated that Israel's action would trigger Iranian retaliation, which is why they decided to act preemptively. Iran's Foreign Minister responded with accusations that the US entered the war exclusively on behalf of Israel.

The military campaign already has economic consequences in 13 countries - prices of oil, natural gas, and gold are rising, and global stock markets are recording falls. The region and the world are preparing for a new wave of escalation whose scale is not yet known.
