Serbian singer Aco Pejović performs at Byblos in Poreč on 3 October, organised by Privilege Night Events. It starts at 7 pm and the programme runs until two in the morning.

Aleksandar Pejović was born in 1972 in Prijepolje and got his musical education at a music school in Podgorica, where he studied piano and double bass. He has been singing since he was fourteen. Since 1995 he has lived and worked in Belgrade, and a few years later he earned the status the Belgrade scene calls king of the splavovi, the floating river clubs. His first album came out in 2000.

His career took off after the single "Opušteno", and the songs that defined it are "Ne diraj mi noći", "Jelena", "Litar krvi" and "Taksi". Formally this is pop-folk, but arriving through a music school with a double bass is a different door into the genre than the one you walk through after a television talent contest, and you can hear it in how his songs are arranged.

Poreč is an Istrian coastal town, which makes this concert part of the autumn seaside run rather than the winter arena season. Tickets through entrio.hr go up to 45 euros, roughly 2,772 denars for the top category.
