Crvena Jabuka play Sava Centar in Belgrade on March 20, 2027 from 8 p.m. The concert runs under the motto "Nekako s' proljeća", after one of the band's best-known songs.
The Sarajevo band marks 40 years this year with a European tour titled "40 Cities for 40 Years of Career", which started in Sarajevo, the city where they played their first show in 1985. As part of the celebration they have also played Arena Zagreb and London. The frontman is Dražen Žerić Žera. The band's beginning was marked by tragedy: on September 18, 1986, on the way to a concert in Mostar, the car carrying the members collided with a truck on a sharp bend near Jablanica. Bassist Aljoša Buha died on the spot, and frontman and founder Dražen Ričl died of his injuries on October 1. By then the group was already a star across the whole country with its debut album from that same year.
The Sava Centar crowd can expect songs generations know by heart: "Vjetar se vezat ne može", "Bježi kišo s prozora", "Da nije ljubavi", "Dirlija", "Zovu nas ulice" and "Nekako s' proljeća". On the tour the band also plays new songs, and a new album has been announced.
Tickets start at 2,900 dinars via tickets.rs.
