Il Limani is coming to Skopje for a concert at Stadion ARM on Friday, July 17 at 21:00 - part of the Albanian pop star's world tour "Thirrëm Sot ose Nesër." Limani is one of the most commercially successful voices in Albanian pop over the past decade, with hits that regularly break into the TOP 100 of the Albanian charts and over 20 million streams on a single track on Spotify.
Born in Pristina in 1994, Limani comes from a musical family - his father Mufail Limani was a member of the band Minatorët. He started his career on the first season of "The Voice of Albania" in 2011 and continued at "Top Fest" in 2012. The 2016 single "Pritëm se po vi" gave him his first entry into the TOP 3 of the Albanian charts, while the 2021 collaboration with Elvana Gjata on "E di" was number one for three weeks running.
The debut EP "Lshoja zanin" in December 2021 kept his songs at the top of the Albanian TOP 100, while "Malli" piled up over 20 million streams on Spotify. His style is modern mainstream pop with urban elements and lyrics that regularly hook into themes of waiting, distance and messages that arrive late - exactly what the tour title carries: "Call Me Today or Tomorrow."
Tickets range from 1,500 to 4,990 denars and are sold through karti.com.mk and avalonbooking.mk. The concert starts at 21:00 at the open-air Stadion ARM. For the large Albanian audience in Skopje, the show will be one of the biggest Albanian concerts in the city this year - the kind of regional gig that makes the Balkan circuit feel like one music market again.
