Georgian trio Trio Mandili performs in Plovdiv on December 1, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. The exact venue hasn't been announced yet, and the Plovdiv concert is part of a Bulgarian mini-tour that continues the next day in Veliko Tarnovo.

Today the trio is Tatuli Mgeladze, Tako Tsiklauri and Mariam Kurasbediani. They sing Georgian polyphony accompanied by the panduri, a traditional Georgian string instrument. Fame came from the internet: the video of them singing the folk song "Apareka" drew more than eight million views. Mgeladze, who has a business degree, turned that into a small empire of tours, collaborations and their own shop, and in 2017 they also took part in the Eurovision selection.

In 2023 they filled Sofia's Maymunarnika club, where the audience sang along all night, and the trio came down off the stage to sing among the people. The new tour promises a longer setlist, new arrangements, traditional Georgian instruments and the same closeness to the audience.

Tickets on bilet.bg cost 25 to 42 euros, roughly 1,540 to 2,590 denars. How many Balkan folk songs would rack up eight million views if someone sang them like this, with no production and no mask?
