Ilda Šaulić at Sava Centar on November 26 - Šaban's Daughter with a Retrospective Concert in Belgrade

Ilda Šaulić has scheduled a concert at Sava Centar in Belgrade on Thursday, November 26 at 20:00. The Serbian singer and daughter of the folk music legend Šaban Šaulić returns to the big stage with a retrospective performance - combined with her own singles and her father's ballads.

Born in 1978 in Belgrade, Ilda came into music naturally - her father Šaban Šaulić was called the "king of folk music," the author of songs like "Dođi da ostarimo zajedno" and "Dva galeba bela," a legend whose albums over 50 years defined the concept of the folk baritone. After years performing in duet with her father, Ilda released her first solo album "Stani dušo da te ispratim" in 2009.

After Šaban's tragic death in a road accident in 2019, Ilda has kept his name alive on stage as part of her regular concerts - duets with her father are still the crowning moments of her performances, played via video recordings. Ilda's style blends the classical Serbian folk expression with contemporary pop-folk production, with special attention to emotional ballads and themes of family and nostalgia - a continuation rather than a reinvention, which is exactly what her audience wants.

Tickets are sold through tickets.rs. The concert starts at 20:00 at Sava Centar - one of the largest concert halls in Belgrade.
