Miroslav Škoro, backed by the tamburica group Šokci, performs on Saturday, 21 November, at 8 pm at Restaurant Ljubas in Viškovo, near Rijeka. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
Škoro was born in Osijek in 1962 and carries an unusual biography for a singer: a doctorate from the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, a seat in parliament, a consular post in Hungary, wine and television. He ran in Croatia's 2019 presidential election and campaigned with concerts, and his signature is still "Ne dirajte mi ravnicu".
The evening is the restaurant's own concept: singing, gastronomy and zones of tables. The standing bar zone is 28 euros, with food and drinks not included in the ticket, and up to seven people share a high table. The expensive seats go for 68 and 78 euros. Škoro on stage in a restaurant, after a campaign for the highest office in the country: who in the Balkans actually manages to hold on to both politics and the tamburica?
Tickets run from 28 to 78 euros, about 1,725 to 4,805 denars, on Entrio.
