Skopje's David Temelkov plays his first solo concert at Zagreb's Tvornica kulture on November 11. After years on the regional scene, this is the first time he carries the whole evening himself rather than appearing as a guest on somebody else's bill.

Temelkov was born on June 21, 1992 in Skopje. His musical path started at twelve, with a performance at Zlatno slavejche. Wider regional recognition came in 2015 on X Factor Adria, after which he moved to Zagreb and released his first album, "Disem za nas", with Hit Records. In 2020 he founded his own label, Identity Media, and his second album, "Slusaj kada zivot diktira", holds thirteen original songs, all with his own lyrics and music, arranged together with producer Kristijan Sinkovic.

In 2024 he won the Golden Ladybird of popularity for "Mojata Makedonija", a song that very quickly became something like a second anthem for Macedonians at home and anywhere in the world. That fact is worth more than any festival CV: a song written by a man who lives and works abroad, and taken as their own by the people back home.

Across his career he has shared a stage with Petar Grasa, Jelena Rozga, Massimo Savic, Nina Badric, Parni Valjak and Kaliopi, and he performs regularly at the CMC festival in Vodice, Beogradsko prolece, Suncane Skale and MAK Fest.
