Deborah De Luca and Aca Lukas at the Arena, "Kao kakao" at the MNT: December in Skopje

Techno and kafana under one roof

On 4 December Deborah De Luca plays Boris Trajkovski Arena: the techno DJ from Scampia in Naples who made this year's DJ Mag Top 100. A week later, on 11 December, the stage belongs to Aca Lukas and his "Kafana na Balkanu" and "Lična karta". Tickets for Deborah De Luca start at 1,000 denars, and for Aca Lukas the seller is offering promo tickets at 500 denars.

Few venues in Skopje pull in both a techno crowd and the people who know every line of a Lukas song by heart. The Arena does it within seven days.

The theatre and the Opera

On 11 and 12 December the Macedonian National Theatre stages the musical "Kao kakao", built on the songs of Vlatko Stefanovski and directed by Dejan Projkovski, with tickets from 1,100 denars. On 15 December, back at the MNT, Elena Andonovska performs her concert "From Macedonia to Foreign Lands", an evening dedicated to Vaska Ilieva, with entry from 800 denars. The Tanec ensemble holds its annual concert on 24 December at the National Opera and Ballet, with tickets at 800 denars.

15 more in December

These five are the latest additions to the calendar. Skopje has 20 events in December in total, among them concerts by Tamara Todevska, Vlatko Stefanovski and Lepa Brena. They are all in the events calendar, with dates, prices and links to the sellers. Prices are as published by kupikarta.com and wayin.mk.
