Tribute nights in Skopje: Elvis, Queen, Pink Floyd and Red Hot Chili Peppers in November

November at Stanica 26 and the Philharmonic

None of these bands is booked for Skopje, but their songs will be played live: four tribute nights between November 7 and 21, two at the Stanica 26 club and two at the Macedonian Philharmonic. For part of the audience that is the closest they will get to hearing "Bohemian Rhapsody" or "Comfortably Numb" with a band on stage, without a plane ticket.

The first is on November 7 at Stanica 26: Brazil's Red Hot Experience with "Californication" and "Can't Stop". A ticket is 700 denars.

On November 20 Skopje gets two tribute nights at the same time, both from 9 pm. At Stanica 26, Troublemakers perform their "Elvis Presley Experience" for 700 denars, while at the Macedonian Philharmonic Numb bring the songs of Pink Floyd with lasers and video projections, tickets from 1,000 denars. If you want both Elvis and Pink Floyd, you will have to choose.

A day later, on November 21 at 8 pm, Queen Sensation play the Macedonian Philharmonic with the hits of Queen and Freddie Mercury. The organisers do not name the musicians. Tickets cost 1,000 to 1,500 denars.

Two more before December

On November 7, the same night Red Hot Experience play Stanica 26, MKC hosts Tribute Fest 2. A Linkin Park tribute is the first act confirmed; the organisers are keeping the rest of the line-up to themselves for now. On December 12 Stereo Deficit play the songs of Arctic Monkeys at Stanica 26.
