Deborah De Luca says she doesn't like fame and doesn't want to be part of the techno scene. That didn't stop her from reaching the world's top fifty DJs. On 4 December, from 8 pm, the Neapolitan DJ plays the Boris Trajkovski Arena in Skopje.
She grew up in Scampia, the Naples district where "Gomorrah" was filmed, and before music she worked as a waitress and a club dancer. In 2013 she founded her own label, "Sola_mente Records", and in 2018, after ten years in the business, released her debut album "Ten". On DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs list in 2023 she was 46th, and in the following years she stayed in the top sixty. Despite the touring, she still lives in Naples.
Her sound is techno that moves from the hard stuff to minimalist grooves and melodic passages - a set built over hours, not in three hits. The event is brought by Lokal 45, and in the country's biggest hall at that.
Tickets start at 1,000 denars and are sold via kupikarta.com.
