Aries

Aries has nowhere to rush today and that will irritate them more than any deadline. By eleven they will have found three things that "have to be done anyway", just to have a beginning. Leave at least one for Monday - a Sunday you have handed yourself a task is not rest, it is a working day with weaker light.

Taurus

Taurus will hear today from someone they have not spoken to since spring, and the conversation will run twice as long as either of them planned. Neither will mention that out loud. Connections that survive three months of silence usually were not fragile in the first place.

Gemini

Gemini will start reading something long today and reach the end without opening their phone. That has not happened to them in months.

Cancer

Cancer will be in a house full of people today and will notice that for the last two hours nobody has asked anything of them. They will start checking whether they forgot something. You did not forget - a lunch where nobody calls you into the kitchen is a rare thing, and it is spent while it lasts, not audited.

Leo

Leo will hear somebody else's story today with a factual error in it and will let it pass. Nobody will notice that they noticed. There is a difference between being right and needing everyone to know you are right - a Sunday afternoon is a good place to see which of the two matters more to you.

Virgo

Virgo will turn down an invitation today without inventing a reason. Just "not today". They will brace for an awkward silence from the other side, and it will not come.

Libra

Libra will like something today that they know they will not buy - clothing, a book, an idea for a trip. They will come back to it three times during the day. Come back a fourth - a thing you still remember seeing by the evening is no longer an impulse, it is a decision waiting for permission.

Scorpio

Scorpio will be asked something personal today and will answer more briefly than the question deserved. The person will move on without comment. Nobody insisting does not mean nobody was listening - it only means that this time you did not have to defend yourself.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius will realise around five in the afternoon that they have done nothing of what they imagined on Saturday night. The first thought will be to salvage part of the day. Don't - a Sunday rescued at the last minute counts nowhere, and an evening spent making up for it is a second lost day on top of the first.

Capricorn

Capricorn will pay for something for another person today, unannounced and without waiting for thanks. A small sum, nothing they will feel. With Capricorn these things are not impulses - they have been keeping that account for a while, and today they simply closed it quietly.

Aquarius

Aquarius will be in a conversation today where everyone agrees, and for once they will feel no need to open up the other angle. It will be slightly boring and slightly relieving at the same time. Not every table needs shaking up - there are Sundays when even the dullest agreement is rest.

Pisces

Pisces will sort out something concrete today - a drawer, a folder, the summer's bills. No mood for it, no asking why now. By this evening they will have a clear overview they have been avoiding for weeks, and it will prove more useful than all the thinking that stood in for it.
