Jelena Rozga, one of the most beloved pop stars in the region, takes over Belgrade's Sava Centar in December with a run of as many as six concerts. The Croatian singer performs on December 20, 21, 26, 27, 28 and 29, making her one of the biggest names on Belgrade's year-end concert calendar.
Rozga started her career as part of the cult group Magazin, after which she established herself as a soloist with a string of hits that became Balkan standards. Songs like „Bižuterija“, „Razmažena“ and „Rodit ću ti kćer i sina“ earned her the status of an artist whose concerts sell out in advance, and the announcement of six nights in the same hall says it all about her audience. „Bižuterija“ alone gathered over 50 million views and is considered a turning point in her solo career.
The Sava Centar concerts are conceived as full-evening spectacles with a live band, running through both her solo hits and the material from her Magazin era. For the audience that can't make the first date, the run of six dates leaves room to pick across the entire holiday week.
The first concert is on December 20 at Sava Centar in Belgrade. Tickets for all dates are on sale through tickets.rs. The event is in Serbia, which for part of the Macedonian audience is a chance for a holiday trip to Belgrade.
