Kovacs, one of the most recognizable voices of the Dutch music scene, is coming to Zagreb. On Sunday, November 29, 2026, at Tvornica kulture, the singer Sharon Kovacs performs with her powerful, dramatic voice that fuses soul, jazz and pop into a distinctive retro sound, starting at 20:00.
Kovacs was born as a musical presence in 2014 with the ballad „My Love” - a song with a mature, theatrical sound that was hard to reconcile with her twenty-four years at the time. Her debut album „Shades of Black” debuted at number one on the Dutch charts and stayed there for a full 56 weeks, while its commercial success spread to 36 countries, with top-ten positions in Germany. Her sound draws on the icons of soul and jazz - Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Shirley Bassey, Amy Winehouse.
What sets her apart is the voice - a deep, dramatic instrument that carries an evening on its own. Kovacs does not build pop by formula, but music with a vintage soul and modern production, which makes her equally appealing to lovers of soul classics and to a younger audience. Her concerts are known for an intense, emotional experience.
Tvornica kulture is a frame worthy of a voice of this caliber. Tickets are available through entrio.hr, with prices starting around 45 euros. For lovers of soul and jazz with a contemporary stamp, November 29 in Zagreb offers one of the more prominent musical evenings of the season.
