Halloween in Zagreb starts a day early. Davyboi, a DJ and producer from Munich, plays his first Zagreb show on Friday, 30 October, from 11:59 pm, at the "High Hats Halloween" night at the Boogaloo club.

Davyboi is from Munich, with Polish roots, and plays trance, Eurodance and hard house at 148 to 155 beats per minute. According to his gig profiles, he went from working as a car mechanic to bookings in Montpellier, Madrid and Barcelona in about a year and a half. He releases mostly on Polyamor Records, and his tracks include "Shining Heart" and "Discotheque", a collaboration with Mika Heggemann. He has recorded sets for Berlin's HÖR, Amsterdam's Tuinhaven and Munich's Rote Sonne, and on 23 October he was on the Amsterdam Dance Event programme.

Also on the bill are Glorex b2b Follis and Omnius, for a full night of high-energy electronic music, as the organiser puts it. The High Hats Halloween series returns to Boogaloo with what they call their biggest event yet. Is Zagreb ready for trance at 150 BPM right after midnight?

The first two ticket tiers, at 15 and 20 euros, have sold out, and tickets are now 25 euros, about 1,540 denars, on entrio.hr.
