The band nemanja play Zagreb's Bugalu club on November 27, starting at 20:00. They describe their own sound as Adriatic psych-groove, and the line-up is made up of musicians from Pula and Zagreb, led by Luka Sipetic.

What makes them worth the trip is the combination: psychedelic funk, tropical rhythms, cosmic disco and a Mediterranean sensibility, packed into music built for dancing. It is not a mechanical mash-up but a logical fit, because Adriatic coastal music has always had more in common with tropical rhythms than with the continental tradition - it is just that hardly anyone dared to say it out loud.

They built their reputation on three albums known as the Esoteric Trilogy: "Tarot Funk" from 2019, "Cosmic Disco" from 2020 and "Voodoo Beat" from 2023. Since 2019 they have toured the region hard and been showcased at international festivals, among them Eurosonic Noorderslag, MENT in Ljubljana and SHIP Festival in Sibenik.

This year they opened a new chapter with the double single "Asja / Kada te nima tu", which trails an album with a more melodic and more contemporary Mediterranean groove, running through the connections between leftfield funk, Balearic pop and global rhythms.
