Seven Hours Without Power in Studenichani's Villages, Outage on "Hristo Tatarchev" in Aerodrom Too

Monday will start without electricity in parts of the Skopje region. Elektrodistribucija, the power distributor, has announced planned outages for reconstruction and modernisation of the network, and the longest one lasts a full seven hours.

Studenichani, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: the villages of Vrtekica, Ramni Gaber and Pagarusha lose power, along with part of Dolno Kolichani - the customers supplied by the "Dolno Kolichani 2" substation, in Dolno Maalo Pole.

Aerodrom, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: an outage has been announced for customers on "Hristo Tatarchev" street. The exact coverage, with house numbers, cannot be confirmed from the public view of the official map, so the notice does not necessarily mean the whole street will be left in the dark.

Elektrodistribucija warns that the times may shift depending on how complex the work turns out to be and conditions on the ground. If you are not sure whether your address is on the list, check the official outage map on Elektrodistribucija's website or call 02 3205 300.

Seven hours without power on a weekday is a whole working day for every workshop and shop in those villages. The grid clearly needs work, and nobody disputes that the reconstruction is necessary. The question is whether residents found out in time - or from news portals, the evening before the outage?
