Saša Kovačević continues his autumn tour of Serbia with a concert at the Zorka hall in Šabac on 20 November from 8 p.m. After Požarevac (30 October), Kruševac (6 November) and Užice (13 November), Šabac is the last announced date of the tour.
Kovačević was born on 27 July 1985 in Zemun. He finished the Kosta Manojlović music school in the piano department and then studied sound recording and design at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade. Behind the hits, then, is a trained pianist and sound engineer, not just a voice.
He first appeared on television in 2004 at the Sunčane skale festival with the song "Pakao i raj". The breakthrough came with "Jedina si vredela", and in 2006 he released his first album on City Records, with "Lagala me il' ne lagala" and "Ruka za spas", which was named hit of the year. His second album, "Ornament" in 2010, cemented his status, and "Bežimo iz grada" was the summer hit of 2011.
Tickets on tickets.rs start at 1,500 dinars, about 789 denars. The tour skips Belgrade entirely and goes round the sports halls of the provinces, a schedule that tells you where his most loyal audience is.
