Belgrade's Dorćol Platz is booked on 3 November at 8 pm for a "Women's Night" of stand-up comedy. Three comedians from the Standup.rs organisation are on the bill - Jana Stajić, Tamara Milošević and Lena Ilić - with Marija Žagar hosting. The show was originally scheduled for 22 October and has been moved to Tuesday, 3 November.

Standup.rs is the Belgrade club that staged the first stand-up nights in Serbia in the spring of 2009 and has worked ever since as a nursery for young comedians performing their own material. The three names on this bill aren't TV stars but part of a new generation building their voice on the club's stage. That's the whole point of nights like this: to hear them before everyone else does.

The organiser introduces them in a self-mocking tone. Lena, according to the promo text, is almost thirty and nobody has yet managed to explain to her what a wage garnishment order is. Marija introduces herself as an "engineer" and a "comedian" and doesn't tell people she does stand-up, so they'll treat her like a normal person. If that's the trailer, the evening is unlikely to be restrained.

Tickets cost 800 dinars, about 420 denars, the same as at the door. Tickets bought via tickets.rs guarantee a seat; those bought at the door don't, if the hall sells out. The show starts at 8 pm at Dobračina 59b.
